Entry for the 2016 Windsor Half Marathon has now opened. In previous years the race has sold out of its 6,000 allocation. Taking place in a prestigious, iconic location the 2016 race is set for Sunday 25 September.
Next year will be the 34th edition of Windsor Half Marathon, which makes it one of the longest established running events in the UK. The race is set in stunning surroundings and features amazing views of Windsor Castle and across Windsor Great Park, with the 13.1 miles run on traffic free roads.

Race director Peter Hier commented: “We are excited to confirm that entries for the Windsor Half Marathon 2016 are now open. I am proud to say that this is one of the most prestigious events in the British sporting calendar, taking place in the only Royal Park managed by The Crown Estate. Where else can you run towards the finish line with a stunning view of Windsor Castle and great ancient oaks whilst maybe spotting deer!

The start and finish are on The Long Walk and a new start time of 10am has been confirmed. Registration is open and public places cost £28.50 (affiliated) and £30.50 (non-affiliated), go to the event website now to secure your place on the start line next September.
