The third WomenOnly Run will take place at Richmond Park, London on Sunday 19 October. The event is organised by Rosa, a charity who raise funds to support projects that benefit women and girls in the UK. There is the option to walk, jog or run distances from 5k to 15k. There are also places in the event for mothers wishing to run with their buggy.
While the run is open for women only, everyone can participate in fundraising and Rosa welcomes all supporters. Rosa's executive director, Jo Shaw, said: "The run is great fun in a beautiful place. It's a fantastic opportunity for Team Rosa to come together and raise vital funds to support our work.
"We are really proud of the women's organisations we support, who are working on issues as diverse as tackling sexism and racism in music videos and ending the horrific practice of FGM across the UK.
"The more we raise, the more we can do to support women and girls in the UK, and bring about the changes we want to see for an equal society."
Last year Rosa raised a great amount of £13,000, and this year's target is £20,000.
