The Dorking 10 Mile road race is one of the premier road races in the south of England, attracting up to 800 entrants annually, many of whom have run the race previously. The race consists of a small single circuit within a larger outer loop through the rolling Surrey countryside and caters for runners of all abilities. |Prizes||The first three men and first three ladies over the finish line will win cash prizes and a trophy as follows: 1st place – £100 2nd place – £75 3rd place – £50 These winners will not be eligible for the following age group trophies which are awarded separately. 1st 3 men and ladies U30 (i.e. 17 – 29 years) 1st 3 men and ladies U40 (i.e. 30 – 39 years) 1st 3 men and ladies V40 (i.e. 40 – 49 years) 1st 3 men and ladies V50 (i.e. 50 – 59 years) 1st 3 men and ladies V60 (i.e. 60 – 69 years) 1st V70 man and 1st V70 lady. All affiliated runners are eligible for the team prizes – 1st 3 male and female teams consisting of 4 runners per team. The Surrey 10 Mile Road Race Championships are awarded separately from the Dorking 10 with prizes usually awarded at the same time by Steve Rowlands of Surrey AA.|
